The Job Role

Chunc Limited is a family run business and forms part of the HR Smith Group. We design, develop and manufacture a range of manual attendant controlled wheelchairs in our factory based in Hereford. We offer indoor and outdoor mobility solutions for children and young adults with moderate to profound disabilities. Our highly adaptable chair designs are able to accommodate complex postural needs.

Being part of the HR Smith Group, Chunc is able to work alongside our aerospace manufacturing teams, drawing on their extensive engineering experience and machine and mould shop facilities. We pride ourselves on producing user friendly, stylish and highly adaptable seating solutions.

Committed to delivering excellent service we are looking for a conscientious and organised Office Administrator to provide efficient and effective day to day support within the Chunc Sales Office.

Primary duties and responsibilities:

  • Order Processing.
  • Answer customer telephone queries.
  • Process customer quotations and hasten outstanding sales quotes.
  • Liaise with Chunc Design and production team to effectively quote for all modifications required.
  • To assist in maintaining all sales visits files for the sales team.
  • Liaise with Production Supervisor regarding outgoing sales, FOL and Rental orders.
  • Liaise with Shipping Department for all shipping costs.
  • Liaise with Hospitals and Private Clients to arrange collection of rental and FOL equipment.
  • Maintain Sales service calls to customers if required.
  • Arrange demonstrations and assessments for sales team when required.
  • To assist in maintaining all customer files for the sales team.

Requisite capabilities:

  • Self-motivated with good written and oral communication skills.
  • Proven organisational ability, and good time management.
  • Filing/records management.
  • Customer service skills.
  • Solid computer literacy skills with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Full Time Position

  • Hours are based on a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.30pm with half an hour each day for lunch. No weekend, evening or bank holiday working.
  • Salary commensurate with experience.
  • Free internal training provided as required.
  • Opportunities to progress, promote internally and up skill.

Due to the nature of the business being a manufacturing environment, working from home arrangements are not available.
