SAP Support Administrator – ROTHERWAS, HEREFORD.

We specialise in the design and manufacture of Search and Rescue equipment for aircraft environments, specifically Emergency Locator transmitters, homing and Direction Finding systems and COSPAS_SARSAT Decoding. Our products involve the integration of custom designed RF Transceiver circuits with electronic control and baseland processing, implemented with PIC microcontrollers, ARM processors or FPGA firmware coupled with signal processing software.
The main purpose of the role is to work within our inhouse team and alongside third parties to assist with the overall rollout of new SAP Systems including SAP Business One and its ongoing running and maintenance.
Duties include:
- To assist with the provision of user support with day to day queries.
- Collaborate with departments to create and implement proactive processes, reports and documentation within all stock, production, purchasing and HR modules.
- Proactively planning for future training requirements, ensuring the successful adoption of updates to the system and / or working practices.
- Project planning and management to ensure the smooth delivery and rollout of any new integrated SAP Systems and that best practice is adhered to throughout.
- Managing the relationship with the third party software provider.
- Create reports within the SAP Platforms using Excel and / or similar data manipulation software.
- Investigate and attempt to resolve and troubleshoot queries in SAP Software and where appropriate escalate to the next level.
- To take primary responsibility for the SAP Software including Business One ERP Systems.
- Working in close collaboration with senior members of staff and Directors regarding all aspect of SAP management and new project rollout.
Essential skills and experience:
- A broad working knowledge of SAP Business One.
- At least 3 years of experience in implementing and Supporting SAP B1.
- Good understanding of SQL and ability to develop SQL / procedures would be advantageous.

Full time position in office. Salary commensurate with experience. Hours are based on a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday 08:00am to 16:30pm with half an hour each day for lunch.
